Synopsis
An Indigenous woman, a defender of traditional medicine, insists that Yagé —a plant with hallucinogenic effects— is trying to send her a message that will change the course of her life. What is the jungle trying to show her through these visions? Or could they be directly related to the Mocoa landslide, which claimed more than 300 lives?

Wakani immerses us in a deeply intimate sensory and spiritual experience, where the ancestral and the invisible take form. The film offers no easy answers but invites us to inhabit the mystery: that of a woman who hears something others have forgotten—or do not dare—to hear. Through Adriana’s visions, the film connects the personal with the collective, revealing human fragility and vulnerability.
